Britta Crooks, MS, LMFT
Hello, I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2018. I received my Master’s of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Cloud State University, Minnesota. I work primarily with couples and families. I offer individual sessions for ages 10 and up. I have been trained in a wide range of techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Trauma-Informed Care, Prepare and Enrich (premarital counseling), and Family Therapy.
When you meet with me, I will help you work through and process your feelings and past hurt, guiding you on a journey where we will explore reconciliation and restoration that will ultimately lead to a stronger, more fulfilling connection. Together, we will delve into the root causes of your experiences, alleviating the symptoms of anxiety and depression that may have hindered your personal and relational growth. Along this path, I will point you towards taking responsibility for your emotions and actions, encouraging you to seek healing on a deeper and more meaningful level. My goal as a therapist is not to simply provide comfort or to make you feel warm and fuzzy, but to courageously walk with you into the realms of truth, health, healing, and wholeness. I will challenge you to confront the barriers that are holding you back, ultimately empowering you to embrace a life that reflects your true potential and desires. Through consistent support and insightful dialogue, we will work together to cultivate resilience, fostering a sense of peace and clarity that will permeate various aspects of your life.
