Couples/Premarital Therapy
In couples therapy the “couple” is viewed as the client. It is best that both individuals are present in the session. The first session entails a “get to know you” session. We may talk about why you are in therapy, your goals, and desired outcome for therapy. Discussing family of origin, kids and parenting, and daily life may be apart of the intake process. These sessions are 55 minutes each. Sessions can be scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly depending on the couples needs.
If you are a premarital couple:
We use Prepare-Enrich for premarital counseling. Prepare-Enrich is a wonderful tool that lends itself for all types of couples to learn and grow.
